I just purchased my first mini excavator to help with some work around the yard. Its an IHI 35 JX. It ran fine until one day none of the controls worked. With the help of this site I think I solved the problem. It was a broken safety switch. It worked fine for a couple days but now i can not rotate. Everything else works fine. I can hear the hydraulic pressure when i move the controls but it wont spin an inch.
I was on a slight incline when it failed and the machine just kind of spun by itself so that the boom was resting downhill. It hit my car with the right side of the bucket. I know I can not spin left but it seems i can spin right and push my car a little but i don't want to try too hard.
Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know where to get a service manual in english? any help would be greatly appreciated.
