Howdy guys
I just bought a Komatsu mini PC07-2E, I think it's a 1999 model
I'm pretty happy with it so far and being a long term backhoe operator I'm pretty amazed how versatile this little machine is particularly with the front blade and the boom swing
The only real work it needs is the pilot joystick controls are leaking, I read the thread by Willie59 about servicing these and will tackle the job once I can find a place to get spare parts for the right price
I found Komatsupartsbook.com and I'm thinking about ordering the parts from them but I can't find any info or reviews on this mob, Has anyone here used them?
I'm presuming the parts I need are items 11 & 12 in the following link

Looking to purchase a trenching bucket for a 3.5 ton mini. Trying to decide whether to go with 10" or 12". Mainly to run lines and 4" pvc or big o for drainage. Obviously the more material that comes out the more (purchased) aggregate needs to go back in. As well even with a 12" bucket you pretty much end up with a 14" or so trench depending on soil conditions. That being said, couple of my buddies that have excavators said they would go with 12". The only draw back with a 10" bucket that I can see would be clumping in the bucket during wet soil conditions and hard to walk in a 10" trench. What size would you get and why?

I have a 2007 Kubota KX121-3
The angle blade cylinder snapped and I cannot get the pins out of there so I can send out the cylinder to get fixed.
I have tried heating it up, pounding it with a sledgehammer, every kind of penetrating oil, and even a jack hammer.
I cannot get them out.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi, serial number look up ? anything online to find out or decode the serial number?

Bucket interchangability. Anything other than the JD35 model interchange with the factory John Deere quick change?

I am looking for a 12"-18" digging bucket and a 42" clean up (smooth edge) bucket

Howdy guys
On my mini Komatsu PC07-2 I occasionally get a floppy ram on the bucket circuit
It will work fine for a while and then for some reason will behave like it's out of oil and just flops around, If I crowd or extend it will come good usually
There are no leaks on the ram but I'm thinking about changing the seals on all the rams anyway and I'm wondering if this will fix it
The oil tank is showing full when everything on the boom is extended and the rams are closed up but I'm not sure if that's the correct way to check the oil on this thing
I can't seem to find the correct procedure for checking the hydraulic oil for this particular machine
Any advice appreciated

I'm wanting to buy a mini excavator for just personal use right now but may try to find some paid work for it later down the road. I need to put in some drainage, clean out some ditches, dig out several stumps and would like to buy a mower attachment for cutting limbs and brush back around my fields. I have very little experience with excavators but I was wanting something that I can transport OK with a 3/4 ton pick up and my equipment trailer. As far as specs go I've been really interested in the Kubota KX121 model as it's about the heaviest machine I can see spec wise that I could carry. Looks like a 9K pound machine with 42HP and 25GPM hydraulic flow rate. I'd like some reviews on this model if you've owned or operated one much and if you know of other machines that are near these specs that are good reliable low maintenance machines I'd appreciate any recommendations.

The mower attachment I'm interested in is a US Mowers EX30 Samurai flail type, maybe the EX40 if the machine I get will run it OK. If anyone has used this or an equivalent mower attachment I'd like some feedback and recommendations on this as well. Thanks

I just purchased this machine, and rebuilt the engine and completed a 2k service. Does anyone have the pressure settings and or service manual for this machine? I am new to this sight, I have worked as a field tech for Komatsu for 9 years before stating my own company. Not a new to machines haha. But my mini slows when she gets to temp. So I need to specs and procedure. Thanks in advance.

My boss has tasked me with finding the best mini excavator to buy. He wanted me to find a forum and find out what people are saying and which ones they like best. So ladies and gentlemen, what is your opinion on the best mini excavator? I assume he wants to know how the machine handles, availability of parts, costs, resale value, and just overall experience with the machine.

Hello all,
I'm new to the site, but glad I found it.
We have a Takeuchi TB-153FR that was running fine last week, but sat for a few days while we did other work on site. I went to start it this morning, but noticed that none of the indicator lights on the instrument panel would light up when I turned the key to on. I fully turned the key to start and the starter cranked, but the engine wouldn't turn over. The front light, horn and fan blower motor all work and I could hear the fuel pump run when the key was turned to the on position.
Still no indicator lights though. I pulled the fuel line from the filter housing to the injector pump and it spit fuel when we turned the key to the on position. I also checked the fuses in the small panel that sits next to the right side armrest by the instrument panel, no fuses were blown. Is there anyone here with Tak experience that might be able to point me in the right direction? Any web site suggestions are welcome as well.

hello all- new member from southern Nh-
I just bought a yanmar B3 (or so I believe it to be) mini excavator-
I paid $7500 for it- all the labels are in Japanese- so I have no info on it.
I was wondering what the weight and capacity stats were for it? The previous owner thinks is about 20 years old.
It runs beautiful- he also repacked all the cylinders and installed new tracks and starter.
Another question: what id this feature on the boom- appears to split at the top? Is this a desirable feature or does it weaken its abilities?

Just learned to operate new machine nicely and discovered switch was in backhoe mode. Put it in Ex mode and now all thumbs and difficult to get anything done. Are there any advantages of one mode over the other? Should I just switch it back and be happy? Anyone prefer one over the other and why? Help!

Having trouble with h-55 hammer. Aux Hyd will not power hammer with valve in the hammer one way flow position. Hammer will operate with valve in two way position by using the wrong direction / left side of pedal. When the lever valve on the front of machine is in the one way position the r/ s hose jumps but hammer doesn't work Flow input is correct. Do not get this one
