I just stumbled upon this forum searching for a manual for my mini. Looks to be a very informative place!
Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can download a service manual for a IHI 17NE? Ive tried their website with no luck.
any help would be great!

On a 331d two speed final. The final drive barely rotates when in the air. It free wheels when you pull the machine with the boom. Other final works fine yet. Any ideas as the way to start looking?

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I'm getting more involved with heavy equipment though I've been a mechanic for years. So I have a 2001 Scat Trak with swing issues. Basically, I can swing left but not right. Today I swapped the hoses on the swing motor to see if it was the swing motor or if it was something less serious. When I swapped the hydraulic lines I can now swing right, but not left so basically both ports of the swing motor are working properly. Anyone know where I should head next for diagnostics? Any help would be great.
I have a Service Manual on order from Vermeer, they took over the Scat Trak line of excavators when they went out of business. It won't be here for a minute so I figured I would ask on the forum.
BTW Vermeer named it CX224 but it's the same machine. The machine is made by an Italian company called Libra. They actually are still in business and now make machines for Cams Macchine overseas. So you can still purchase parts. I keep running into misinformation about how you cannot get parts for the machine but you can through Vermeer, even though Scat Trak doesn't exist.

Hello, new owner of a hitachi ex22-2. Can anyone with the same machine tell me what the button on the control panel next to the headlight switch that has an engine symbol on it do? Also anyone with pdf manuals they would be willing to send me?

Hi there,
I run a small landscaping business here in Victoria, Aus, and im looking to up grade our old yanmar vio20 to something a bit bigger and newer. It needs to be small enough to work in backyards but we do quite a lot of excavation where a bigger machine would speed up work. The new machine will need to be able run an auger and a hydraulic thumb, and id like something with less than 2000 hours, although with a budget of $40000 im aware that might not be viable.
Ive read a lot of good things about the newer vio35's and the takeuchi tb138fr although most seem to be out of my budget. Theres some reasonably priced cat 303c's and kubotas and E32 bobcats..
If anyone has any first hand experience with any of these or similar size machines and can pass on some advice that would be great!

Hey gang, anyone know where I can pick up a ew hydro oil cooler for a 303.5c for less then the 525.00 I was just quoted? Also any solutions for keeping demo dust out of the cooler and rad? I put a fiber filter on the body and in front which helps but still over heating after an hour when the filter clog.

The hour meter on my cat excavator quit working with only 982 hours on it. It is the analog kind with the red thing in the middle that turns. Does anyone know where to start looking to fix this and what drives these style meters? Thanks

Well guys I don't know if you would be interested in leisurely reading or not but...........I decided to update the gauges in the Mini excavator. It's a Scat Trak 224S and I posted photos in the mini pics thread. Essentially I've built it from the ground up, and for those that don't want to go and look at the other thread here's a couple quick before and afters.

So now I'm getting started on the gauges. All the warning indicators have the lens caps missing. So basically you have to know what they are in order to be warned about the issue, or it's just a light. I haven't quite figured out where I can pick up some aftermarket caps yet but tell me if you like where I'm headed with the gauges:

Hi all
I have recently bought a KX41-2 and I am looking for some help or guidance as I can't find the grease nipples for the slew ring anywhere so I am wondering if the grease nipples have been broken off at some point and need replacing hence why I cant find them
My father has an older bob cat mini excavator and the slew ring grease nipples are direct onto the side of the ring under the cab, so I am wondering if that's where they are supposed to be on the Kubota as well, as I cant find any other grease nipples tucked away behind any doors in the cab or in the engine compartment
Can anyone point me in the right direction of where the slew ring grease nipples should be, or where I should be looking for them??
I'm new to the forum so apologies if this is already on the forum somewhere

Hey Fellows, I need some help finding out the problem with Bobcat 337 not starting, it cranks. Just before I had to choke it down to shut off. Found out the linkage in the fuel cutoff solenoid had come out. The gauges will not lite up, I screwed the linkage back in the solenoid, still nothing. Got good power to starter. Could the solenoid circuit be open, if it was seems like the gauge lights should still come on. I disconnected the neg side of battery hoping it would reset computer. Still nothing. Thanks

It's ditch witch color but pure komatsu. I've looked everywhere and can't find out what the aux hydraulics flow. I did find one that said 13 and some odd gpm. Anyone have this info? Thanks

Hello all, I am about to pull the trigger on a used Takeuchi tb020 . I was surprised to learn it didn't have a title but someone here told me that's nothing to worry about with them. Condition and hours are the most important . I thought that knowing the year of production would help to figure out a baseline for price . But the owner doesn't know how old it is (estate auction). Pic to follow this post, runs and operates 100% and has 2700 hours . What's it worth?

Appears that my throttle cable from operator seat is broken or needs some other fix. Unfortunately I do not have service manual for this machine. Any tips or manual extracts would be appreciated
