Cold cab on Tak T145, FAn blows but no heat, any ideas!

Hi all, I have a tak 145 with low hours, cab machine, has heat and A/C and as far as I can tell reverything seems to be working well "BUT", no heat. I have checked all the fuses, have coolant in machine, A/C is working, no signs of leaks anywhere. There is a cut off valve from the heater core to the water pump which can be cut off faster warm up in the summer but this is open and working.
I am out of ideas and hate to think of spending $500 to have someone show me a valve or something equally simple that I may have missed. Any thoughts good readers? I'm going to get my coat and will check back! Thanks for any and all ideas!

Thinking of changing my mini digger for a newer one. Its a 2002 kubota kx41-2s with 1500 hours on it. Machine is perfect and running great, just id like to come up to a 08 - 10 year machine. I was considering a takeuchi as i have driven one for a few weeks and the long blade had its advantages i found. Other machines i was thinking of was bobcat, hanix and jcb. Looking for some opinions on the machines i quoted although the kubota dash 3 i probly going to be a strong contender. here is a pic of it anyway

I have an 02 takeuchi tb 135 and the main lifting cylinder started leaking. I was wondering if there were any options out there to replace it with a bigger one that can lift more? am I limited by the pump or the mounts? or will the boom just not handle it? I need to lift a few concrete blocks that are 3000 lb. the farther out I can reach the better.
thanks for the help

Bypass valve stuck on KX91-3ss

Finally found out what is wrong with my KX 91-3ss. All of a sudden lost about 75% power in the whole tractor. Everything, tracks, boom, bucket, etc. The Kubota rep said it sounds like the bypass valve is stuck open and that is all the power I am getting is from the bypass flow.
My question is: I tried taking the valve apart on the tractor. Took as much apart as i could but nothing helped, still no power. Does anybody think it is necessary to take the whole hydraulic valve unit off to take it apart to fix this, or can it really be fixed on the tractor? A ton of lines to unhook and mark, would like to do it on the tractor. Any thoughts, ideas or comments?
Thanks...

Takeuchi tb135 turn motor extreme safety issue

Hey guys, i just purchased a 2002 tb135 with 3000 hrs. i got it home and when i started using it the following happened after 4 hours of use: the turn motor or swing which ever you prefer to call it will not swing to the right at all and when you swing left after you center the joystick it still swings very fast and makes a complete revolution before the brakes are applied. Even if you lift the safety bar it still swings. ( I almost took the side of a dump truck out). Has anybody had this issue?

Here is what I have done to troubleshoot so far. swapped the lines at the valve and rights swings left with no brake and left does nothing (rules out the joystick i imagine) returned lines to fac setting

swapped the two metal lines ont he motor right on the joystick swings left of the boom left on the joystick does nothing

I am stumped and in line for a certified takeuchi mechanic.

I would like to find a factory service manual for this machine that I can download . Anyone have any ideas?

All input is appreciated. Thanks

midi x stump grinder

Anyone have a stump grinder attachment for mini, midi excavator. How does it work and will it run off thumb plumbing. Like to put one on an older 96 pc 50, 11200 pound rig. Have looked at 2 jobs that need stumps ground, can't dig them out to close to pavement. Have hired a crew in the past and thought about buying a stand alone stump grinder, but just hate to store it. Quoted stump grinding price for these jobs 4200, figured for that price I could come close to attachment and have it next time.

new to me takeuchi tb135--need advice on bucket sizes

after searching for a kubota kx121 and watching several bobcat 331's sell before i could make arrangments, i purchased a 2006 takeuchi TB135 excavator from my local rental house. they were very good to me, offered a warranty, choice of buckets and free demo and delivery. the machine only has 880 hours, and after running it for 2 hours i tend to agree with the meter. it has a TAG brand manual quick coupler and i picked a 18" TAG bucket and a 24" bucket with the purchase of the machine.

i am thinking of using the 18" for general use, and the 24" for digging septic lateral lines. also searching for a good used 12" bucket for digging footings.

my question is this:
1) what is the largest width bucket i can use with the TB135 and not stress the engine or overload the machine?
2) can i go wider than 24", and use it for cleaning out ponds or mucking them? or do i need to stay with a 24" width and go with a higher capacity model?
3) what would be the largest grading/cleanout bucket that i could use? are they built lighter to compensate for the additional capacity?
4) can i use a grading/cleanout bucket to load loose material into a truck or to gather mud and stack it up when cleaning out a pond?

not trying to clean out an entire pond, just when in a bind and trying to get something the dozer or crawler loader wont reach. i have a d4c and 455g to handle the heavy work. i have read nothing but praise and good reviews here on this forum for takeuchi, just hoping that a few fellow tb135 owners will share their bucket choices and experiences with me.

i ran it approx. 2 hours before purchasing the following day on our farm and had a fun time tearing out cedars, several old stumps that i left behind, and picked at a few sandstones. always wanted an excavator and owning this one just put a smile on my face!

oil out valve cover vent on TB 007 with Yanmar 2TN66L-UTBA engine

$

so its been parked for the better part of the winter. just got started to move out of the garage in anticipation of some digging. about 45 seconds or a minute after start notice oil dripping off one track and turns out it was coming out of what I would call the road draft tube on an automotive engine, i.e. the crankcase ventilation which is just a tube from the top the valve cover running down the side of the machine that ends right above the track.

the guy who moved it freaked out and thought he must have lost lots of oil and put a quart in which only lead to more of the same obviously . (and he didn't know where the dipstick was, its kind of obscure on this engine.

so he shut it down and called me. we drained the oil back down to the operating range and everything seems hunky dory. but I'm trying to figure out what might have caused the first incident of oil discharge.

pulled the valve cover and didn't really see any drain holes as such so couldn't estimate if they might be sludged up or . . .

wondering if anyone has had any experience with this engine. seems they use 'em in refrigeration sometimes I've been told, although the net seems to suggest they are limited to sailboats and TB-007 in the sense that I can't find any other uses or applications when googling for that model engine.

Thanks for any knowledge of this little power plant.

Poor tb53fr forward travel speed

I have a TB53FR that has some horrible travel speed in both directions, but most worst going forward. Foward almost has the levers to the windshield to get any movement. Im thinking it might be the cables, but am open to other ideas.

If the cables, how hard / expensive are they to replace.

Hey fella's

I'm wondering if you can tell me where the solenoid valve is that operates the extending function of the undercarriage? It extends fine and retracts fun but the valve doesn't seem to hold 100% as when i'm working with blade it will pull one side in occasionaly. Thanx a bunch

Bobcat 322 uneven track speed

Someone tried to steal the hydraulic pump from my 322, they removed the hoses and 1 mounting bolt, when I started her up she threw out most of the hydraulic oil before I noticed. Tightened up the hoses but now she pulls to one side when tracking and the slew left and right is very slow. I thought it would bleed itself after a while but it has not put itself right any ideas? Also does anyone know the mounting bolt size and thread for the top bolt on the hydraulic pump?

Hi y'all

Possibly trading off my TLB for a mini..it has sat more than it's been used
Found an '03 304 cr with only 2,000 hrs, cab, heat, new tracks - Very nice machine! Does anyone have one of these? Pros and cons?
BTW my TLB is an '01 416C with 4,000 hrs..
